Overview of self-help groups for breast cancer patients

Self-help groups provide a forum for patients suffering from the same illness to talk about their experiences and offer each other support. In the sheltered environment of a self-help group, members are able to discuss their concerns with people who understand their situation, offer each other comfort and reassurance, and learn to live with the disease. The following organisations offer self-help services or can put you in touch with self-help groups near you.
